Lost my thought.

I made myself a book wallet/clutch after seeing some online (http://www.thanksimadeitblog.com/2012/02/diy-book-clutch-roundup.html). It was also a bit time consuming. I wish I had a before and after picture, but I didn’t know how this would turn out.

I used an old soap box (this one was fortunately shaped like a book), old sheets, and a broken leather purse, and some glue (glue stick and E-6000). Im thinking of painting the black part gold to make it look like a gold-lined book.

This was my first attempt, and it isn’t perfect, but I think it turned out pretty cute. You could use it as a wallet, or jewellery box.

I saw a few of these online and instantly felt like I needed to have one. So I made myself one. They’re pretty easy. All you need is some jewellery pliers, wire (Im not sure what gauge or brand of wire I bought), beads (for the top, and tiny decorative beads to mix with the sand). I also used some seashells and sand I got from my trip to Hawaii.
